Theodosius II. Solidus, 441-450 A.D. Constantinople. Helmeted, diademed and cuirassed half-bust, facing ¾ r., holding shield, spear over shoulder. Rv. Constantinopolis enthroned l. holding globus and scepter, star before; IMP XXXXII COS-XVII.P.P., COMOB in ex. 4.44 grams. RIC 314 (R-3). Graffiti X in r. obverse field. Extremely Fine and About As Struck. Full, clear nose. (Est. $400-$500)
