Laureate head of Julius Caesar r., jug behind; CAESAR DIC. before. Craw.488/2, Syd.1166 (R5). Light surface granularity with peripheral deposits. Several deep edge splits are the natural result of striking a prematurely cooling planchet. The portraits are unusually clear for an issue that generally has poorly struck portraits in low relief.
