Royal Academy of Music Medals. Trio of Award Medals presented to Stuart Elliott for Aural Training 1932, Harmony 1932, and Musical Composition 1937. Bronze, 40mm. By B. Wyon. BHM 1165. Stuart Elliott of Leigh-on-Sea in Essex studied at the Royal Academy of Music from June 1931 until spring's end 1932, taking joint study of viola with James Lockyer and piano with Paul Pauer, then changing to organ with Walter Vale. He reentered the Academy in Sept. 1935, taking composition with Benjamin Dale, and continuing piano with Pauer. Elliott stayed until the end of the summer term 1937 -- Bridget Palmer, Royal Academy of Music.
