1787 Connecticut copper. DBL. M.37.2-k.5. R-5+. Technically About Uncirculated. The Miller Sale Coin....1787 Connecticut copper. DBL. M.37.2-k.5. R-5+. Technically About Uncirculated. The Miller Sale Coin. 139.5 gns. Unnatural red and brown, once cleaned. Both sides quite rough in appearance but even given the light flaws and granularity the piece has the sharpness of an AU coin. Obverse slightly off center to the lower right, the reverse perfectly centered with full date numerals showing.

Ex Henry C. Miller Collection (Tom Elder, May 29, 1920, lot 2016). Square collector's ticket accompanies the lot.
