1787 Connecticut copper. DBL. M.36-l.1. R-5+. Extremely Fine. An outstanding example, the finest seen...1787 Connecticut copper. DBL. M.36-l.1. R-5+. Extremely Fine. An outstanding example, the finest seen by the cataloguer. The Miller Sale Coin. 152.2 gns. Olive green in color on both sides. Obverse surface just microgranular and not disturbing; the reverse rougher at the top and on Liberty's figure below her waist. Minor obverse flaws, some more significant ones on the back, the reverse scratched across the center. The obverse well centered, the reverse a little off to the top, but with full date numerals showing.

Ex Henry C. Miller Collection (Tom Elder, May 29, 1920, lot 2004). Square collector's ticket accompanies the lot.
