NGC MS64. 48 1865 Very Choice Brilliant Proof VERY CH BR PF $2,000.00 Blazing mint red drenches this virtual Gem example of a Proof mintage of 500 pieces, deepening to rose in two areas of the silken-smooth fields. Boldest cartwheel reflectivity heightens the appeal of a meticulous strike and assures the most powerful visual appeal for this charming example of an early date of the Indian design. Well struck and quite lustrous. A pleasing example of this scarce date. 53 1867/67 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $550.00 A good deal of red remains on the obverse of this attractive coin. The double date is quite strong. 54 1868 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $850.00 Nearly full mint red. This along with a good strike and excellent lustre are the main attributes of this pretty coin. 55 1869/9 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,150.00 Here is a lovely example of this popular overdate. The coin retains lovely mint blush and a hint of red can be found beneath the chocolate brown surfaces. 56 1869/9 BU $600.00 About Uncirculated, lightly dipped; 1887 Brilliant Uncirculated, faintly toned; 1904 Brilliant Uncirculated. The first and last coins show retoning and enhancement respectively. 3 pieces. 57 1871 CH AU $380.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A pleasing example that has the appearance of an Uncirculated coin at first glance. 58 1872 Gem Brilliant Proof GEM BR PF $1,700.00 Here is a fiery red example of this key date, one of 950 Proofs struck. Uniform blazing red drenches both sides of this needle-sharp strike to create a level of perfection seldom seen today on Indian Cent Proofs of any date. 59 1872 CH AU $600.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Hints of mint red can be found on this chocolate brown example. The strike is quite bold, particularly for this date. 60 1873 Closed 3.
