Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,800.00 A second virtual Gem certified as red-brown, but displaying wonderful deeply glowing ember-red saturating both sides. Some weakness at the high points of the cheek and chin but this wonderful coin has marvelous eye appeal. Struck from die pair 2 which is the only die pair that commands the full premium for this error. 99 1924'D' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $1,000.00 Deep orange-gold toning over nearly pristine surfaces. A single miniscule obverse spot does not detract from this scarce coin's eye appeal. 100 1924'D' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $500.00 This coin's surfaces are satiny red, the strike a trifle weak but this is generally a far above-average example, housed in an early green label NGC holder.
