Well struck but for the typically weakly impressed '8' of the date. Overall lustre is outstanding, the surfaces show some die clashing as is usual for this date. A very attractive example that is quite rare in this lofty condition and is certain to trigger spirited bidding on the auction floor. PCGS MS63.
2012 1855 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $1,000.00

A small scratch on the face is this coin's main detraction. Well struck, including the date. Surfaces display a wonderful green-gold patina for a respectable overall appearance. Scarce in Mint State.
2013 1855 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $950.00

Greenish-gold toning gives this coin an attractive appearance. The strike is average for the date and there are no major detractions worth mentioning. Here is an above average coin for this scarce issue.
2014 1855 CH AU $1,100.00

Choice About Uncirculated and very close to full Mint State. Good lustre and an adequate strike define this coin. A nick in the central reverse is this coin's main detraction.

One of a very small number of known Mint State examples of the only date of 'Indian Princess' type struck at New Orleans. This coin's diamond-sharp strike results in a crisply incised LIBERTY, plus the boldest date and 'O' mintmark standing out from deeply lustrous, reflective fields. Here is a coin of the most splendid visual quality.
