Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $3,700.00 A boldly lustrous near-Gem showing a sharp impression of the dies, uniformly sparkling mint frost and generally full detail. 1686 1917'D' Reverse Mintmark. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,900.00 A second frosty near-Gem of the second Denver date boasts nearly full hand and feather detail, bold silver lustre with a touch of gold. 1687 1918'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $7,900.00 - on the cusp of fully Gem. Wonderfully smooth silver fields are haloed in bands of tantalizing rose-gold, a die crack links Liberty's fully detailed head to the upper rim. 1688 1918'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $600.00 - or nearly so. The strike is typical for this date and the lustre is a bit subdued. The surfaces show little in the way of any marks. 1689 1919 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $2,700.00 Medium gold toning over lovely fields. The strike is bold including a full hand. The lustre is exceptional for this difficult date. 1690 1919'D' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $12,500.00 Iridescent blue toning about the rim with rose-gold centers gives this coin a pretty appearance. The strike is decent with excellent hand detail present. The surfaces show very little in the way of marks to devalue this attractive coin. Scarce this nice and sure to please. 1691 1919'D' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $55,000.00 - with the lustrous beauty of a higher grade. Virtually flawless frosty silver on both sides gives this magnificent key to the Walking Liberty series its exceptional appeal. Few of this low-mintage Denver date were saved in the higher grades thanks to the hurly-burly of the post-World War I depression. 1692 1919'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $15,000.00 Majestic frosty mint lustre radiates from the mark-free surfaces of this beautiful specimen. Bright silver surfaces show a hint of ice blue toning in the right lighting. This example is housed in a first generation PCGS holder and is conservatively graded. PCGS MS63. 1693 1921'D' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $8,800.00 - virtually Choice. Well struck with rose-gold toning. The surfaces are nearly mark-free. A very pleasing example of this rare date that is usually seen in very low circulated condition. 1694 1921'S' CH AU $4,800.00 Choice About Uncirculated or thereabouts. Wear appears on the highest points, much lustre remains in the fields and surrounding the boldly defined reliefs. Here is an eminently collectible example of a San Francisco mintage of 548,000 pieces. 1695 1928'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $3,400.00 - approaching Gem in its bright silver beauty. This San Francisco coin's lustre is intense, the strike at the centers is typical of this Branch Mint. Although this date can be found in Mint State with some effort, pieces in grades comparable to this near-Gem are few and far between on today's quality-conscious market. PCGS MS64. 1696 1936 Very Choice Brilliant Proof VERY CH BR PF $5,500.00 - showing the lush surface quality of Gem. Wonderfully squared rims enclose a microscopically exacting strike that presents full hand and sandal detail of jewel-like clarity.
