- on the truncation of the bust. Choice About Uncirculated and very close to a full Mint State classification. Nicely struck, yellow-golden surfaces retain a full measure of icy mint frost. Very scarce and quite worthy of a significant premium. In fact, mint records indicate that only 1,000 pieces were struck. The survival rate, however, seems higher than would be supported by a mintage...  more

Extremely Fine. This coin's fields are remarkably lustrous, light wear can be found on the high points. A glass reveals some minor obverse scratches that are well hidden by the stars. One of only 21,588 struck of this first Dahlonega date and a worthy representative for date or Type collection.
1103 1849'O' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $310.00

Splendid light canary-yellow gold saturates both sides of this meticulous strike. An old scratch can be discovered in the right obverse field. The reverse shows the lower wreath, date and 'O' somewhat less sharply detailed, probably from forceful die polish.

Extremely Fine. The first coin shows a dull surface, the companion was polished and shows some reverse scratches. 2 pieces.

Extremely Fine. One of 6,966 struck and a vividly detailed example with only moderate wear. The 'T' in UNITED appears joined to the berry just below it, thanks to the forceful impression of the legend into the die.

1107 1851 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $425.00

Virtually flawless surfaces are drenched in bright yellow-gold lustre of the greatest purity. Several stars show flower-like configuration with their centrils blending into the smooth field. The reverse is essentially pristine.

Extremely Fine and Choice About Uncirculated, the latter once dipped. 2 pieces.
