The strike is acceptable for this date as most are not well struck. The surfaces are clean, giving this coin excellent eye appeal. 555 1808 O.103. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $2,200.00 - with claims to the Choice category. Attractive gold toning with some light russet at the rim. The strike is particularly good for this date, especially in the hair on the obverse. The surfaces are above average for the grade, giving this coin exciting eye appeal. 556 1809 O.108. Rich mint frost graces both obverse and reverse surfaces of this popularly collected 2/1 overdate variety. Pale gray surfaces due to a past cleaning. The strike is very average for the date; 1833 O.133. Very Fine. A coin that has been previously cleaned and now exhibits a pale gray patina; 1833 O.110. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $1,100.00 This date shows the definitive '4' sharply right of the first impression of this digit, and careful examination shows a sharply raised die dot in the field before Liberty's eye. Gently flashing silver underlies subtle hints of lilac, rose and blue. 567 1824/4 O.110 AU $230.00 About Uncirculated. Good mint lustre with some areas of dark toning on both sides. The strike is better than average and gives this coin wonderful eye appeal. 568 1825 O.109 AU $200.00 About Uncirculated but the coin is bright and shows signs of a past cleaning. An excellent strike further defines this coin. 569 1825 O.110 CH AU $325.00 Choice About Uncirculated, virtually Mint State. A wonderfully lustrous dove gray specimen with touches of pleasing rose toning. 570 1825 O.114 CH VF $210.00 Choice Very Fine. Deep gray toning over moderately struck surfaces; 1826 O.111a. Fine. A coin that shows signs of a past cleaning and is weakly struck; 1836 O.114. Choice Very Fine. Strong detail over medium gray surfaces. Some hairlines under the toning but they are minor. 572 1827 O.109 (R-4). Square Base 2. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $800.00 The first three red stripes in the reverse shield are cut short before they join the border. Tawny copper-gold outlines the crisply defined reliefs and devices on a coin showing many features of Choice. 573 1827 O.130. Square Base 2 CH AU $325.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A well rounded coin with excellent lustre and a very presentable strike. The color is a medium gray with the obverse showing an area of a darker shade. 574 1827 O.136 (R-4). Square Base 2 CH AU $270.00 Choice About Uncirculated and quite lovely overall. Frosty surfaces are mostly medium gray in color. The strike is above average and adds further to this coin's wonderful appeal. 575 1828 O.105 (R-5). Curl Base 2 EF $525.00 Extremely Fine, perhaps a tad better. Medium gold and gray toning over pleasing surfaces. There are two minor rim bumps, one on each side that do not detract that much. A rare die variety with this coin just short of being in the lower end of the Condition Census. 576 1829 O.105 AU $170.00 About Uncirculated. Plenty of lustre still remains despite the fact that this coin has been dipped many years ago. The strike is mediocre for the date but does not detract much from the overall appeal. 577 1829 O.108 CH VF $130.00 Choice Very Fine. A well balanced example that has some light iridescent color; 1831 O.110. Extremely Fine. Golden toning with some iridescent blue at the reverse rim. Dipped many years ago and now retoning. 2 pieces. 578 1829 O.112. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $700.00 A lovely coin that approaches a higher status. The obverse has peripheral toning that surrounds the light gray center. The reverse is more radiant with golden tones near the border. 579 1829 O.116a CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A marvelous example that has excellent mint bloom on the obverse and light gold color on the reverse. The strike is bold and further defines this appealing coin. 580 1830 O.101 AU $150.00 About Uncirculated in terms of wear, but dipped a long time ago. The coin still has a marvelous appearance due to a great strike and nearly mark-free fields. 581 1830 O.104 EF $200.00 Extremely Fine. Light gold over gently cleaned surfaces; 1833 O.103. Extremely Fine. Bright from a past cleaning but still has a respectable appearance; 1834 O.101. Large Date, Large Letters. Very Fine. Weakly struck and shows evidence of a past cleaning. 3 pieces. 582 1830 O.108. Small 0 AU $235.00 About Uncirculated, essentially Choice. Here is an attractive coin featuring frost mint lustre and light gold toning. 583 1830 O.113 AU $200.00 About Uncirculated. A respectable amount of lustre is seen, especially on the reverse which is untoned. The obverse has some medium gray toning. An above average strike further enhances the eye appeal of this coin.
