1798 B.23 (R-3). Pointed 9, 13 Arrow Heads. Choice About Uncirculated. Spindly stars above the eagle...
Choice About Uncirculated. Spindly stars above the eagle typify this reverse. A vigorous strike results in the boldest detail. Frosty silver at the peripheries contrasts with diffuse light rose in both fields and devices.
1759 1798 B.29 (R-4). Pointed Tail 9 AU $5,250.00
1798 B.29 (R-4). Pointed Tail 9. About Uncirculated, or virtually so. Surfaces are a lustrous silver...
About Uncirculated, or virtually so. Surfaces are a lustrous silver and host a touch of light russet-gold toning in the fields and on the devices. The strike is sharp at the upper obverse and lower reverse, while Miss Liberty's mid to lower hair curls are quite weakly defined, as are the stars and eagle's head on the reverse. As the highest grade B.29 reported in the JRCS 2005 Early...  more
1760 1799/8 B.3 (R-3). 15 Star Reverse AU $6,000.00
1799/8 B.3 (R-3). 15 Star Reverse. About Uncirculated or essentially so. Boldly struck in every respect....
About Uncirculated or essentially so. Boldly struck in every respect. The obverse is toned in shades of olive-russet with lilac and jade-gold iridescent highlights. The reverse is somewhat paler and reveals two short crisscrossing scratches between the right shield point and scroll. This scarce and important Red Book variety certainly is worth a distinct premium above the so-called type...  more
1761 1799 B.6 (R-4). Small Star 1 CH VF $3,300.00
1799 B.6 (R-4). Small Star 1. Choice Very Fine and close to a higher grade. This obverse is noteworthy...
Choice Very Fine and close to a higher grade. This obverse is noteworthy for a small and spindly first star. The reverse shows the unbroken serifs on 'U' in UNITED. Silver surfaces bear some delicate gray and gold toning of great dignity. Light and trouble-free circulation adds to the coin's strong visual quality and appeal.
1762 1801 B.2 (R-3) VF $1,300.00
1801 B.2 (R-3). Very Fine. Cloudy tan and gold toning adheres to surfaces that have been mildly abraded...
Very Fine. Cloudy tan and gold toning adheres to surfaces that have been mildly abraded to give this coin an even, lightly porous appearance. Devices and legends are very well defined on this ever so slightly scarcer date. A couple of rim bruises are noted on this specimen of the die state featuring clash marks that appear as a ''collar'' at Miss Liberty's bust.
1763 1803 B.5 (R-3) VF $2,200.00
1803 B.5 (R-3). Very Fine. Medium gray over nicely struck surfaces. A series of shallow pin scratches...
Very Fine. Medium gray over nicely struck surfaces. A series of shallow pin scratches on the reverse that appear not to be mint-made. The coin still has an excellent arm's length appearance and should be viewed accordingly.
