Fine-12. The ever important overdate is quite bold and can be seen without magnification. A glass reveals some light surface granularity, but the general appearance is smooth and glossy. The central reverse is slightly weak, but the rest of the coin is strong. A great example of this popular variety.

Good-6. Surfaces exhibit advanced graininess and dark brown surfaces that host iridescent highlights. Some ancient scratches noted on the obverse.

Good-4. This coin has tremendous eye appeal for the grade. The surfaces are glossy brown with just two tiny pin pricks at the lower reverse near the fraction. The central reverse is a bit weakly struck, but the rest of the coin is well struck and the overdate is quite bold.
