108.0 grains. Very Fine. Very sharply struck on the obverse with clear details showing in the trees on the hills, sharp sun face, good landscape detail, nice sharpness in the letters in the inscription. Double punched 'U' in PUBLICA very clear. Reverse periphery sharp, center a trifle soft as struck. Surfaces quite rough on both sides. Reverse mostly golden brown on the high points,... more |

$1,700.00 |
111.0 grains. Very Fine. Very nice, rich tobacco brown in color on both sides. Surfaces fairly smooth and hard most everywhere. Softly struck on the obverse over the plough, on the back at bottom and lower left. Ever so slightly off-center on both sides but without serious effect. Double punched '1' in the date visible despite the softness above it. |
