A pleasing example of this scarce date that is on most collectors' want lists. 904 1879'CC' 'CC over CC' VG $350.00 Fine, but cleaned long ago and now retoned to an attractive, soft gray patina; 1890'CC' Very Good, with a few minor scratches, mostly on the reverse, and a battleship gray patina; 1891'CC' Very Fine, with several rim nicks on the reverse, but with decent surfaces. 3 pieces. 905 1879'O' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $130.00 - approaching Gem; 1882'S' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. The first exhibits wonderfully delicate tawny gold, the companion has a whisper of peripheral gold. 2 pieces. 906 1879'S' Rev. of '79. Superb Gem Brilliant Uncirculated SUP GEM BU $260.00 This example is completely saturated in frosty mint lustre. The surfaces are virtually flawless and the cheek is satiny smooth.
