Untoned to lightly toned, lustrous coins. 1879'S' has been cleaned and retoned. 6 pieces. 1533 1879 Brilliant Proof BR PF $1,500.00 - with definite claims to a slightly higher grade. Both sides are well mirrored in the fields with cameo-like devices. There are traces of pale steel and russet toning around the rims. There are a couple of light contact marks visible. Only 1,100 Proofs were struck. 1534 1879 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $700.00 Milky white and boasting bold mint frost, this very well struck specimen would make the ideal hole filler for this issue in a date set. Although a common date, Gem 1879 specimens are tough to find. PCGS MS65. 1535 1879 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $600.00 Pastel lavender, blue, rose and gold tones beautify this lustrous coin; 1880 VAM 10. 8/7 Bit. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Glowing mint lustre illuminates amber, gold, rose and deeper russet-gray toning; 1880 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated.
