Choice Extremely Fine. Light gold and iridescent toning over gray surfaces. The lustre is decent for the grade. The strike is average in the central area and there are some light circulation marks visible on the cheek. The reverse finds a tiny pinscratch below the 'E' of STATES as its main detraction. Still a wonderful appearing coin that is totally original and well worth a closer inspection....  more

Fine to Very Fine. Mostly silver toning with a small area of iridescence. A rim nick below the date is this coin's main detraction. There are no mint-made adjustment marks, just a spot near Liberty's nose that someone tried to lighten. Still a decent coin for the grade.

Fine. Here is a very charming specimen of this first Silver Dollar type. Surfaces are a pleasing silver gray with hints of gold and sea green toning around the peripheries. Well struck and exhibiting a some light friction lines at the highest points of the devices.

Fine. Medium ebony toning over surfaces that are well kept. A tiny rim ding on the reverse is really not that offensive. The fields are smooth with no major nicks or other impediments. A very decent example of our country's early Silver Dollars. PCGS F12.
