Choice About Uncirculated. This bright, silver-white example retains quite a bit of field reflectivity on both the obverse and reverse. Quite scarce in this condition. Only 88,000 pieces were struck.
1712 1854 Arrows. Choice Brilliant Proof CH BR PF $7,000.00
1854 Arrows. Choice Brilliant Proof. Toned with attractive dark tawny-gold throughout, with blue near...
Toned with attractive dark tawny-gold throughout, with blue near the rims. The strike is bold and complete, as expected for a Proof coin. Scarce, as perhaps 20-30 are known of this issue, and these are eagerly sought out for the elusive With Arrows obverse die. The present coin is not the finest technically, with a trace evidence of contact in the field and perhaps a few hairlines obscured...  more
1713 1854 Arrows AU $120.00

About Uncirculated and essentially Choice in terms of wear. Golden orange toning overlays surfaces that have been lightly hairlined in the past. Here is a respectable example for a type collection.
1714 1860'S' EF $6,200.00
1860'S' Extremely Fine. Deep lavender and gray tones bathe the smooth fields, with hints of light...
Extremely Fine. Deep lavender and gray tones bathe the smooth fields, with hints of light rose and gold hugging the design motifs, stars and lettering. The surfaces are a bit glossy, and might be indicative of a very old cleaning, while some circulation tics have been minimized by wear and by the richly attractive toning. The 1860'S' is a major rarity in the Liberty Seated Quarter series, and...  more
1715 1871 Brilliant Proof BR PF $310.00

Sharp, frosty devices create a cameo effect against mirrored fields with a hint of pale gold toning. Light hairlines from a past wiping are in evidence. The Proof mintage of this date totals only 960 pieces.
1716 1877 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $1,150.00
1877 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. Smooth silver fields are rich in obverse gold, reverse displays the...
Smooth silver fields are rich in obverse gold, reverse displays the lightest blue-green iridescence for splendid eye appeal.
1717 1877'CC' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $750.00

Ice blue, amber and russet tones abound on the obverse while a sea of cobalt blue and plum tones enhance the beauty of the reverse. Frosty mint lustre simply bathes the surfaces of this dazzling specimen. The strike is quite crisp and the reverse devices are a bit frosty giving a somewhat prooflike effect. A wonderful example housed in an early NGC holder. NGC MS63.
1718 1883 Choice Brilliant Proof CH BR PF $525.00

- and approaching a Gem classification. The Design features offer needle-sharp definition, and are enhanced by liquid-mirror surrounding fields. Waves of olive-russet, sky-blue, and fiery rose-gold toning bathe either side of this enticing specimen. One of only 1,039 Proofs and 14,400 business strikes coined of this scarce date.
1719 1888'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $650.00

- and an example that offers claims to the Choice category. This well struck silver-white coin displays an abundance of icy frost accented by hints of reflectivity.
1720 1891'O' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $9,100.00
1891'O' Brilliant Uncirculated. Glittering, light prooflike flash emanates from beneath a layer of...
Glittering, light prooflike flash emanates from beneath a layer of exquisite lavender gray, magenta and iridescent blue toning. Strike is rather strong as expected of this date-mint combination, and the usual, distinctly strong clashmarks are found on both obverse and reverse. Just 68,000 pieces were struck of this final New Orleans mint Liberty Seated issue, and precious few have survived...  more
