Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $80.00 Lovely gold toning over nicely preserved surfaces. Well struck and quite lustrous. 3956 1913 Type I. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $50.00 Deep golden toning over well struck surfaces. The lustre is a bit muted due to the toning. 3957 1913'D' Type I. The strike is good and the lustre is nice for the grade. 3961 1913 Type II. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $80.00 Delightful medium gold toning over decent surfaces. The strike is acceptable, giving this coin nice appeal. 3962 1913'D' Type II. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $3,250.00 Medium gold toning defines the color of this pretty coin. The strike is bold and there are a couple of tiny die cracks in the Indian's head. A very attractive coin worthy of a strong bid. 3963 1913'S' Type II. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $2,900.00 Spectacular mint lustre over well preserved surfaces. A few light speckles but overall this decently struck coin is quite nice and should please most collectors. Quite rare in this condition as most are well worn. 3964 1913'S' Type II. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $1,000.00 A hint of golden toning gives this coin superior eye appeal. There is some die clashing evident in the obverse fields and the reverse shows a die crack through FIVE CENTS. 3965 1914 Gem Proof GEM PF $3,200.00 Light golden toning over very well kept surfaces. The strike is stunning, bringing James Earl Fraser's design to life. All in all a magnificent coin destined to wind up in a high grade set. One of only 1,275 Proofs struck. 3966 1914 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $260.00 A great example that exhibits medium gold toning. Struck from clashed dies, the evidence of which is readily seen under the Indian's chin. 3967 1914'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $475.00 Attractive rose-gold over satiny surfaces. The strike is good in some places and a bit weak in others. A very presentable example of this key date. 3968 1914'S' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $3,250.00 A spectacular example with an exacting strike and beautiful gold color. The surfaces are well preserved with a small reverse die crack from the rim into the buffalo's head. A very pretty coin that will make its new owner proud. 3969 1915 Gem Proof GEM PF $2,600.00 A coin that exhibits light gold and iridescent toning over marvelous surfaces. The strike is exquisite and lends this coin tremendous eye appeal. One of only 1,050 Proofs struck. 3970 1915 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $200.00 Medium gold toning over a decent strike. The surfaces are nearly mark-free and attractive. 3971 1915'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $400.00 Deep russet toning over well struck surfaces. This is unusual since this date does not always come with so strong a strike. A prize for the Buffalo Nickel specialist. 3972 1915'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $825.00 Deep iridescent toning blended with some icy blue on the reverse combine to give this coin nice original appeal. The strike is much better than average for this very difficult date. 3973 1915'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $550.00 A couple of light spots over very nicely struck surfaces. The coin exhibits a bit of gold toning over decent surfaces. 3974 1916 Gem Proof GEM PF $3,750.00 - and exceptionally nice for the grade. Light iridescent toning over very well struck surfaces. A very scarce Proof with only 600 pieces originally struck and very few remaining as nice as the present example. 3975 1916 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $375.00 A mostly satiny example with little if any toning. Generally well struck, although some areas are slightly lacking due to die rust. 3976 1916'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $450.00 - and on the cusp of full Gem condition. Nice satiny surfaces are pleasing to view. With weak strikes the norm, this very well struck example should find a welcome home. 3977 1916'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $600.00 Medium gold toning over generally well struck surfaces. Typically seen die erosion manifests itself as an inner ''ring'' on both sides. A very nice example of this scarce date. 3978 1917 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $850.00 A meticulous strike along with smooth, clean surfaces give this coin marvelous eye appeal. Squared rims and satiny surfaces convey the initial impression that this coin is one of the so-called Proofs of this date that have really never been verified. 3979 1917'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $600.00 Warm golden toning with a tinge of iridescence present. The strike is decent although not full. A very attractive example of this key early date. 3980 1917'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,250.00 Deep gold and iridescent toning with lustre peeking out from underneath the toning. A decidedly better than average strike adds to the desirability of this delightful coin. 3981 1918 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $2,200.00 Bright satiny lustre over decently struck surfaces. The coin exhibits a double profile along with strike doubling of the '8' of the date. A surprisingly scarce date in this grade. 3982 1918'D' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $6,000.00 Marvelous rose-gold and pale blue over steel gray surfaces. The lustre is quite good and the strike is well above average for this difficult date. A very appealing example that will please even the most demanding collector. 3983 1918/17'D' CH VF $2,500.00 Choice Very Fine in terms of wear but the coin has been previously cleaned leaving some moderate hairlines.
