1798/7 John Reich 1. 16 Stars Reverse. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. This gorgeous example is...
This gorgeous example is mostly steel gray with a good deal of golden toning in the fields. A great deal of original mint lustre remains on the well preserved surfaces. A few light adjustment marks can be found in the obverse fields with the aid of magnification, fortunately they do not effect the motifs. They eye appeal of this coin is wonderful. 1811/09 JR.1 (R-3). Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Sharply struck throughout and very impressive for...
Sharply struck throughout and very impressive for this date which is seldom found so attractive. Light silver gray over lustre, and traces of gold are found in the fields. On the reverse, there is a minor toning streak running vertically through the left center. Later die state with several reverse die cracks and extensive die clashing seen on both sides, and this is the normal die state...  more

1814 JR.1 (R-3). Small Date. Brilliant Uncirculated, nearly Choice. Tawny gold and gray over lustre...
- nearly Choice. Tawny gold and gray over lustre and very pleasing for the scarce issue. The surfaces are excellent for the grade, and close examination will find just a couple of minor hairlines and a trivial nick near Liberty's chin. An average strike for this issue, with slight softness on Liberty's curls and the right stars. A very difficult coin in any Mint State grade. PCGS MS62.
2498 1827 JR-3. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $2,000.00
1827 JR-3. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Vibrant rainbow tones dance about the peripheries of...
Vibrant rainbow tones dance about the peripheries of this otherwise steel gray example. The strike is razor sharp but for a small area at the upper obverse and the coinciding lower reverse. The pleasing surfaces are devoid of any notable marks. A beautiful coin that is sure to be a prize for its future owner.
2499 1837 JR-4. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $850.00
1837 JR-4. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. A pleasing example that has iridescent blue ring toning...
A pleasing example that has iridescent blue ring toning with the centers a pale gray. Razor-sharp strike with all the design elements seen as John Reich intended. A very pretty coin with nice underlying mint lustre. The obverse has a die crack that divides it in half, a remarkable die failure sometimes found on this variety.

Icy smooth fields give a wonderful cameo contrast to the lightly frosted design motifs. The color steel is gray with a touch of faint orange and ice blue toning at the reverse. The strike is quite good as evidenced by the detail at Liberty's head. A lovely coin from a mintage of just 930 pieces.

2513 1916'D' G $600.00

Good. A handsome example of this elusive, key date of the Mercury series. The coin shows even, problem-free circulation, characterized by boldly defined legends, date and Denver mintmark and substantial facial detail that create notable visual appeal. PCGS G4.

2518 1942/1 F $375.00

Fine, perhaps a bit better. The surfaces have been gently cleaned but this coin still has a very appealing look.
