Watery underlying fields and frosty devices are embellished by a lovely blush of champagne-golden toning on either side. The design features are needle-sharp at every location, and there is a trace of sky-blue iridescence at the reverse rim. A mere 762 Proofs of this date were struck. Mostly frosted devices and legends stand out clearly against watery ponds of pure reflectivity in the fields, creating a wonderful cameo appearance. Here is a rose-gold toned, original survivor of just 813 Proofs coined of this date. 2485 1905 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $750.00 Wonderful multicolor toning over great surfaces. A few toning streaks on either side of a darker shade. All in all a very exciting example of this popular type. 2486 1905'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $2,200.00 Pale russet and gold toning over reflective surfaces. The strike is strong. There is a hairline on the cheek that is this coin's major detraction. An appealing coin nevertheless. 2487 1908'O' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $750.00 Lovely overall lustre, close scrutiny reveals a few light lines on Liberty's face. The reverse has areas of deeper gold toning and an immaculate field placing this side firmly in the Gem classification. 2488 1909 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $3,250.00 Deep orange-gold toning over well preserved surfaces. Nicely struck for this date. 2489 1910 Very Choice Brilliant Proof VERY CH BR PF $1,200.00 This chrome-like coin has lightly frosted details and some opaque pearl toning at the central reverse. A scarce date with only 627 Proofs struck. 2493 1913'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,000.00 Lovely rose-gold toning gives this coin nice appeal.
