About Uncirculated. Lovely example of the first year of issue of the type. The obverse is deep gold in color while the back is a slightly lighter shade of the same. The strike in the centers was sharp and Liberty's hair curls and the eagle's breast feathers are well defined. All the obverse stars show detail. The coin exhibits traces of a very ancient gentle cleaning long ago. |
