Sharply and evenly printed on both sides, with sharp signatures of Samuel Stringer Coale and R. Johnson. A superb example of the type and worthy of placement in an advanced collection.

Parr and Frederick Kuhn. These notes issued under the May 20, 1777 Resolution were the first to be engraved "The United States" as opposed to "The United Colonies" as seen on earlier issues.
