Victoria, 1837-1901

EF |
$3,900.00 |
50 Cents, 1881 H. Standard types, but struck in copper and unlisted as such. Other off-metal strikes of the Heaton Mint are known, but this appears to be a new discovery. With the proper H3 portrait, this piece's bonafides are reinforced by its uncovering in Birmingham itself, home of the Heaton Mint. Undoubtedly very rare and a prize for an advanced collection. Extremely Fine. |
