A second. Beautiful, frosty gold lustre abounds on this well struck little Type I Gold Dollar. 2548 1851 EF $86.00 A third. Extremely Fine and retaining quite a bit of muted mint frost. Lightest circulation, partial lustre and a minor reverse rim tic define this specimen. 2560 1856 Slant 5 AU $86.00 Another. About Uncirculated from the standpoint of wear. Frosty yellow-golden surfaces display some evidence of having spent a period of time in a piece of jewelry. 2561 1856 Upright 5 CH EF $220.00 Choice Extremely Fine. A pleasing pale yellow example that does show a few light hairlines. 2562 1861 AU $160.00 About Uncirculated. Lustrous light gold surfaces, planchet is slightly wavy. 2563 1862 CH AU $51.00 Choice About Uncirculated from the standpoint of wear. This lustrous, rich golden specimen is quite pleasing were it not for a slight bend in the planchet. 2564 1862 CH AU $150.00 Another. Choice About Uncirculated, in terms of detail.
