Choice About Uncirculated and very close to a full mint state classification. Ever so subtle hints of rose toning accent satiny, yellow-golden fields and design features. Choice About Uncirculated, virtually a mint state example. Here is a vibrant yellow-golden specimen that features rich icy mint frost on either side. Choice About Uncirculated. This attractive coin offers hints of lustre among the protected areas.
2788 1876'S' AU $550.00

The doubling is most evident at the arrow shafts, as well as at the lettering in the peripheral legend. Choice About Uncirculated and fully satiny. The reverse is that of a solid Mint State example. The obverse reveals only the most minimal degree of light friction at the high points. Breen lists this interesting variety as very rare.

About Uncirculated. Pleasing lustre over decent surfaces gives this coin a respectable appearance. Orange-gold toning adds to the appeal. NGC AU53.
2795 1880'S' EF $525.00

Extremely Fine. Although gently cleaned some time ago, this specimen is still quite pleasing.
2796 1883'S' AU $600.00

A strict, frosty About Uncirculated specimen that exhibits a rather nicely balanced presentation. Two thin obverse bagmarks are well concealed at Liberty's brow and hair curls.
2797 1884'S' AU $555.00

The top left portion of the 4 in the date shows subtle albeit clear repunching. About Uncirculated. Assertive design elements are accented by a veil of pale orange-golden toning. Well balanced and quite appealing.
2798 1885'S' CH AU $725.00

Choice About Uncirculated and just a whisper away from a full Mint State designation. Only light obverse friction and a few rather minor bagmarks are evident on this satiny, deep yellow-golden specimen.
2799 1888'S' CH VF $540.00

Choice Very Fine, approaching Extremely Fine. Traces of lustre in the devices. This smooth, evenly worn example displays only a tiny trio of obverse reeding marks on Liberty's nose.
2800 1891'S' CH AU $600.00

Choice About Uncirculated, nearly Mint State. Nearly full mint bloom defines this attractive coin. Yellow-gold toning over surfaces that have some light abrasion. NGC AU58.
2801 1892'S' CH AU $610.00

Choice About Uncirculated and very close to Mint State. Muted greenish-gold toning over lightly bagmarked surfaces. Well struck with decent appeal. NGC AU58.

Choice About Uncirculated, in terms of wear. A light cleaning is apparent.
2803 1894'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $565.00

- or nearly so. Lustrous orange-gold surfaces have been lightly hairlined.

About Uncirculated. Here is a well struck example that offers a full measure of satin-frost beneath pale coppery-orange toning.
2807 1897'S' CH AU $650.00

Choice About Uncirculated and the cusp of full Mint State. Delightful mint lustre over attractive reflective golden surfaces. The strike is good giving this coin an above average look for the grade. Conservatively graded NGC AU58.
2808 1898'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $670.00

A nicely detailed coin that nears a Choice designation. Orange-peel surfaces adorn both obverse and reverse.
2809 1898'S' CH AU $562.00

Choice About Uncirculated and really close to full Mint State. Full mint lustre over yellow-gold surfaces. The strike is excellent giving this coin a very nice appearance. Conservatively graded NGC AU58.
2810 1898'S' AU $540.00

About Uncirculated and revealing only the slightest evidence of an ever so subtle past cleaning. The visual appeal of this satiny, well struck example, however, remains quite pleasing.
2811 1899 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $660.00

- and enjoying an abundance of satin-velvet mint bloom on both the obverse and reverse. There is a thin obverse bagmark that just touches Liberty's chin, otherwise a higher grading would certainly be warranted.

Well struck, however there are light hairlines from a misguided cleaning located primarily on the obverse.
