Most survivors of this low mintage of 41,267 pieces are not nearly as attractive as this example. A pleasing coin from the avidly collected Charlotte Mint.

Very Fine in terms of detail. Cleaned, holed and rather crudely plugged at 6:00. The central reverse also shows evidence of repair, as does the edge at 12:00. Though this coin clearly has its problems, it remains quite scarce as only 9,882 were minted.
