Lot # Description GradeView our Explanation of Comparative Grading Hammer Price
2310 1875'CC' VF $35.00

Detail of Very Fine, however this coin has been very crudely plugged at 12:00 with what appears to be a small piece of brass. There are some light marks around the plug on the reverse that affect the mintmark to a limited degree, however the overall surface quality is otherwise quite smooth. A scarce date in any condition.
2311 1876'S' Type I obverse and reverse AU $275.00

About Uncirculated or nearly so. Subtle lilac-mauve toning is a bit deeper in the protected areas of the design. There are some very light hairlines in the fields that indicate that this coin has sustained an ever so gentle cleaning.
2312 1877, 1878'S' VF $160.00

Fine and Very Fine respectively. Both have been cleaned. The former coin exhibits some light marks in the right obverse field and at the rims. 2 pieces.
2313 1877'S' AU $190.00

About Uncirculated. A decent strike with blue and golden toning give this coin a respectable look. Some light hairlines are visible under the toning but in general they do not detract from the eye appeal.
2314 1877'S' AU $120.00

About Uncirculated. Well detailed with lustre in the fields and protected areas, this coin is bright silver-white from a past cleaning. A glass reveals an old mark to the left of TRADE.
2315 1877'S' CH EF $122.00

Choice Extremely Fine and still retaining quite a bit of reflectivity in the fields on either side. This evenly struck, delicate golden example is accented by hints of russet toning in the protected areas of the design.
2316 1877'S' CH VF $100.00

Very Fine. Pale gray with some darker areas on the reverse. Previously cleaned with some tiny field marks present; 1878'S' Choice Very Fine but there is a long 'X' pinscratched on the left obverse field. The coin has been previously cleaned and now has a pale gray patina. 2 pieces.
2317 1877'S' EF $60.00

Very Fine. Lightly cleaned and displaying a semi-circular dent above and to the left of the date; 1878'S' Extremely Fine. Holed at 12:00. 2 pieces.
2318 1878'S' EF $130.00

Extremely Fine and still retaining traces of mint frost. Olive-russet toning is accented by lighter shades of gold in the devices. A handful of inconspicuous, tiny obverse rim marks are mentioned for complete accuracy.
