Lot # Description Grade Hammer Price 2210 1795 Overton 116 (R-4) G $700.00 Good. A pleasing steel gray specimen with paler high points. Advanced wear is found from 1:00 to 4:00 on the obverse but the surfaces are smooth and free of any mentionable marks. There are a few light adjustment marks at the right reverse rim, but they are not very distracting. A wholesome coin with great eye appeal for the grade. O.103 (R-3) VF $65.00 Very Fine details. This lilac gray coin has strong details but is holed through the center of the date. Here is an attractive olive gray example with slightly deeper toning in a few peripheral areas. This example is quite pleasing for the grade. The die state is early as evidenced by the full denticles which are scarcely present on O.111 coins. A problem-free example. 2213 1812 O.110 VF $110.00 Very Fine, or better. Here is a perfectly even, battleship gray specimen with golden-gray high points; also included are Morgan Dollars: 1880'O', 1900'O' in Fine condition. 3 pieces. 2214 1818 O.112 F $50.00 Fine. Here is a pleasing coin with problem free lilac gray surfaces. 2215 1824 O.109 CH EF $150.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Attractive steel gray surfaces maintain touches of golden gray lustre in the protected areas of the devices. 2216 1826 O.104 (R-3) VF $40.00 Very Fine. Olive gray surfaces accentuate paler high points. Magnification reveals some light old scratches but the coin appears smooth to the naked eye. 2217 1827 O.131. Square Base 2 AU $220.00 About Uncirculated. A lovely coin with deep russet and gold toning over well preserved surfaces. A really attractive coin for the grade that should merit a premium bid. NGC AU50. 2218 1827 O.141 EF $90.00 Extremely Fine. Steel gray surfaces are a touch lighter at the highest points. A wholesome coin displaying just light wear. 2219 1828 VF $40.00 Very Fine. The turban and drapery have been crudely re-engraved to hold enamel or paint, quite a bit of which has flaked away. 2220 1829/27 O.102 VF $90.00 Very Fine. This battleship gray example is enhanced by paler high points and some blue undertones. An appealing specimen with no major impairments. 2221 1830 O.111 CH F $40.00 Choice Fine. Steel gray surfaces are ringed by attractive russet toning near the rims. A wealth of frosty mint lustre dances from the well preserved surfaces. 2223 1831 O.104 CH EF $140.00 Choice Extremely Fine. This lovely specimen is highlighted by attractive lilac and royal blue toning for a gorgeous look. 2224 1831 O.113 (R-4) CH EF $180.00 Choice Extremely Fine. A tougher variety, this example with deep original toning. 2225 1832 O.115. Small Letters EF $80.00 Extremely Fine. Balanced medium gray toning is accompanied by subtle golden highlights in the devices. Smooth underlying surfaces retain hints of muted mint lustre. 2226 1832 O.121 (R-3) AU $170.00 About Uncirculated. Original bluish gray toning gives this coin a great look. Deep golden lustre can be found in the protected areas. 2227 1832 O.122 CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A touch of weakness on the motto as frequently seen. Toned with peripheral blue and gold, with ample lustre to please the eye. Excellent surfaces throughout. 2228 1833 O.109 CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Electric blue and rose bulls-eye toning gives this coin a great look. There are hints of an old cleaning but the coin is nearly mint state and does retain some original lustre. 2229 1834 O.102. A wonderfully original coin that is battleship gray with rose and ice blue overtones. 2231 1838 EF $120.00 Extremely Fine. A bit of colorful toning at the rim gives this coin its warm appeal. The strike is decent, further enhancing this lovely coin. 2232 1839 EF to AU $140.00 Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated in terms of wear. Noticeably cleaned, with iridescent golden toning returning to the peripheries. Old scratches are noted in left reverse field. 2233 1839 CH EF $180.00 Choice Extremely Fine. A decent strike gives this coin a nice appearance; 1842 Small Date, Large Letters. Choice Very Fine. Attractively toned in light gold with some iridescent toning present. A nice strike gives this tough variety wonderful eye appeal. 2 pieces. 2235 1842 Medium Date EF $90.00 Extremely Fine. Deep gold and iridescent blue toning gives this coin nice appeal. Some scattered nicks are seen with magnification; 1854 With Arrows. Fine to Very Fine. Medium gray toning with some gold overtones in places. Typical mediocre strike. 2 pieces. 2236 1843 AU $280.00 About Uncirculated and sharply struck in deep gray and gold. A reverse die crack from eagle's neck to the M of AMERICA; 1858'O' About Uncirculated with mellow gray toning. The coin has been previously cleaned and now has developed some hairlines. 2 pieces. 2237 1846 Medium Date CH AU $280.00 Choice About Uncirculated, nearly Mint State in strict terms of wear. Fields exhibit a touch of reflectivity in addition to signs of a past gentle cleaning. Here is strongly struck specimen of this issue that features many spidery die cracks around the periphery of the obverse. 2238 1846 Medium Date VG $150.00 Very Good; 1846'O', 1847 Very Fine. Attractive coins show bold peripheral russet toning. 3 pieces. 2239 1847'O' CH EF $80.00 Choice Extremely Fine but the coin has been lightly cleaned in the past giving it a dull gray appearance on the obverse while the reverse has some light iridescent color.
