Copper bronzed, 63.7mm. By Francis N. Mitchell. Choice Uncirculated. Obv. Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Latin Let the Deserving bear the Palm. Rev. Presentation legend. This elusive medal shows medium brown surfaces. These medals were struck in Gold and Copper after the 1855 Yellow Fever outbreak.
