Softly struck, and with a few light field marks, otherwise, attractive with a coppery-gold patina. ANACS AU55. 2511 1849'O' Open Wreath EF $200.00 Extremely Fine. Lemon yellow surfaces display amber toning clinging to the devices. 2512 1850'D' VG $150.00 Very Good. Looped at top and obviously used in jewelry for a great length of time. Though worn and polished, the coin still shows the essential design elements. The date is still partially visible and the Dahlonega Mint mark is clearly discernible. Only 8,382 pieces of this rare issue were struck, and this rare ''wounded warrior'' is offered here for your consideration. 2513 1851 CH AU $155.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A pleasing example with a great deal of lustre remaining, and with a sharp strike. A few minor rim nicks are scattered on the reverse. 2514 1851 AU $145.00 About Uncirculated. A honey yellow example with a great deal of remaining lustre. 2515 1851 EF $130.00 Extremely Fine. Light gold toning over surfaces that show a weak strike in the central area. There is a die crack that connects stars two, three and four together. 2516 1852 AU $125.00 About Uncirculated. This attractive yellow gold specimen shows just light rub at the highest points. 2517 1853 AU $130.00 About Uncirculated. Frosty mint lustre clings to the devices of this wheat gold example. 2518 1853 AU $105.00 About Uncirculated, and still attractive, but the coin has been lightly wiped. CH AU $550.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Lightest wear on the high points, die clash in the fields define this example of the first year on this elegant Longacre design. NGC AU55. 2524 1854 Type II. CH EF $360.00 Choice Extremely Fine, nearly About Uncirculated. Salmon-gold lustre glows in the protected areas of the devices and legends on this very well struck, orange-gold specimen. A tiny mark is noted near the obverse rim at 5:00. 2525 1855 CH AU $525.00 Choice About Uncirculated. The Indian Princess shows the clarity of an ancient carved gem on this smooth and lustrous example of a collectible date. NGC AU55. 2526 1855 AU $400.00 About Uncirculated or nearly so. Slant 5 AU $150.00 About Uncirculated, with several pin scratches but with mild wear and most of the original lustre. 2529 1857 AU $85.00 About Uncirculated, with much of the original Mint lustre but with a wavy planchet and several rim bruises. 2530 1858 EF $220.00 Extremely Fine. An example with just a small amount of honest wear, and with some of the Mint lustre remaining. An attractive piece with a pleasing appearance. 2531 1873 Open 3. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $215.00 Delightful lustre covers both sides of this sharply struck example. Examination reveals a bag abrasion resembling a reeding mark in the left obverse field. 2532 1873 Closed 3. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $800.00 Richly lustrous surfaces complement a vivid strike which is especially apparent at the centers, though LIBERTY is essentially absent from the headband. 2533 1874 EF $85.00 Extremely Fine, though a loop has been soldered to the coin at 12:00.
